During my road trip around the United States, I went to different national parks.

Horseshoe Bend
Is a canyon which has the same form as a Horseshoe. It is located 10 minutes far from the village of Page, Arizona. You can visit Horseshoe Bend before or after visiting “Antelope Canyon”. This park is free to visit.

(Upper) Antelope Canyon
I advise you to go through the Antelope Canyon it’s really beautiful. The best hour to go there is around 11.30 a.m. because the sun is at his highest point so it creates nicer colors on the rocks.
Little advise : Book your ticket before going there ! (The price is around 50$)
Because when we arrived there they told us there was no tickets anymore for the day and the day after but luckily they found three tickets left so two for us ! Be careful if you don’t want to miss this ! It would be too bad not to see it.

Zion National Parc
In this park you can stop to go hiking or just drive through like us. We made it only by car because we had hours of driving and it was on the road. But I can imagine that it has beautiful walks. The area is great, it is a mix between nature and rocks. The colors (at least in October) are wonderful.

Grand Canyon West
During your visit in the Grand Canyon West you have to park your car and then a bus drives you to different places that you choose when you buy your ticket. We took the “Hualapai Legacy » package that offers a stop to the three viewpoints. If I’m not wrong, it’s the cheapest and you still have the possibility to see two sides of the Grand Canyon West. This package cost 50$.

Death Valley
Oh the famous Death Valley ! I swear to you that it is not that mortal, the proof I’m still there ! Maybe during summer time the temperatures are higher but in October it is ok. With gas, of course that you have to be aware of your gas level but don’t panic you will find a gas station before and in the middle of the Valley. And we saw many other cars, so in case of emergency there is almost always someone.
