In 2017, I had the chance to go twice in New-York. I went there in July with my family and went back there three months later at the end of my 3 months trip.
If you want to do something fun and crazy when you arrive in New-York and you are many people. You can rent a limousine from the airport to your hotel !

Before talking about New-York, I will explain my journey in Washington D.C.
Washington D.C.
During our family week in New-York, we did a journey to Washington D.C. The bus company "Academy" drove us there. We visited different points :
- The military cemetery: It's really big and there are many in the United States. It is very impressive those thousands of aligned white crosses.

- Vietnam War Memorial
- Corean War Memorial
- Lincoln Memorial

- The White House

- The Capitol

We spent only one day there, so our visit where short but we saw many monuments anyway.
Let's talk about New-York now, the famous city that never sleeps! What do you must see or do there?
From which building can we have an amazing view?
Obsevation Desk - Empire State Building
Top of the Rock - Rockefeller Center
One World Trade Center - One World Observatory

World Trade Center Memorial
Next to the One World Observatory you'll find the World Trade Center Memorial represented by two huge fountains which are representing the two tours, destructed in the 2001's attempt.

Central Park
It's a huge park where you can walk around, ride bikes, chill and get out of the stressful city of NY.

Brooklyn Bridge
You can drive through by car, but I think it's better to walk through it or eventually by bike. I advise you to walk because people which are with bikes have to stop all the time because there are too much people.

Times Square
Times Square is one of the most popular and animated place in the world. It's amazing and so impressive to see all those advertisements and lights from each and every side. You'll also find some shops and restaurants.

Statue of Liberty
The statue of Liberty is one of the most famous attraction in the United States. You must access there by boat, because it is on a little island, called Liberty Island.

Sightseeing Tour
In New-York like in a lot of other cities, you have the possibility to visit the city by bus so that you can discover some places. There are different tours. You must by tickets which gives you the possibility to Hop On Hop Off the bus. There are also different companies.
Fifth Avenue
Want to do some shopping? Most of the biggest stores are on fifth avenue.
High Line
We walked around the “High Line”. It is an old train track which has been transformed in a walkway. It’s very different from the rest of the city because there is not a lot of green apart from Central Park.

Grand Central Terminal
Also called Grand Central Station, Grand Central Terminal is a very famous train station in the USA. Maybe you have already seen it in some films that are taking place in New-York. This station almost became a monument for the New-York citizens.

During my trip in NY, 4 months later, I almost did the same visits. I didn’t really see different things, just with another season. Because I have been there in July and November. The differences between tree colors and temperatures were real. My new experience there, was to be a NY Marathon supporter for my friend!
The ambience is great! There are thousands of supporters that are coming to watch the running. And I swear to you even if you’re not running, you run everywhere trying not to miss the person you’re supporting. You still have to find them in the 50’000 runners. Yes, there are that much crazy enough to run a marathon! Who knows? Maybe one day it’s going to be you, or me. It’s THE year event and the organization is amazing. They even did an application in which you can enter the runner bib number, so that you know at any time where he is.
