Miami - USA

In Miami, I stayed at a hostel (http://hi-miamibeach.com/) because I was alone. Luckily, I booked my hostel in the right place, Miami Beach, because that's where everything happen. Afterwards, I met other Swiss with whom I spent most of my stay.

Little Havana

You can go there to take a walk but there is not a lot to do. I know that there is also some colorful walls but we didn't find it because the street is very long and it started to rain so we decided to get back home.

Wynwood Walls (Wynwood Doors)

I heard that this quarter is a bit dangerous so it's better not to stay alone. But if you're going to the Wynwood Walls there is a lot of people so it's safe. It's a little park with painted walls with a lot of colors and details. It's really cool to take great pictures for your Instagram haha! Around the "park" there are some shops which are also colorful from the outside.

Espagnola Way

It's a sweet little street with restaurants which is very nice to go with your friends or family.

Miami Beach – South Beach

Miami beach is located next to the "South Beach" beach. It's a beautiful place with original lifeguards houses and a turquoise water.

The Everglades

Of course, if you're going to Florida, especially Miami you have to go to the Everglades. Personally, I was disappointed by this place because everyone told me I'll see a lot of alligators during the boat tour. I saw only one alligator and not even totally, just his back. But go there anyway, you have to see how it looks like and maybe you'll be luckier than me.

Lincoln Road

It's a nice street with many stores and restaurants.

Halloween

Hell yeah! In 2017, I spent Halloween in the USA. It's crazy how different it is from Switzerland. There you look stupid if you don't dress up in Switzerland it's the exact opposite.

I have done Halloween twice. During the weekend we went to a festival, called Wynwood Fear Factory, it was amazing! And the exact day of Halloween we walked around Lincoln Road.

Key-West

If you have time to go to Key-West, I advise it to you. It's really beautiful! I took the bus from Miami to go there only for one day. I didn't have a lot of time, but I did the tram tour for visiting the island.
